If you are planning on flying to the area, there are two major airports:

Tampa International, about 60 miles south of us.

Orlando International, about 80 miles east of Homosassa.  Our local airport at Crystal River (CGC) offers a paved landing strip

that is 4500 feet long by 55 feet wide.

Driving directions:

US Hwy 19 to Citrus County. Once you enter Homosassa, turn West by Burger King and follow the road (490) to the first stop

sign. Turn left and follow the road to the second stop sign. Straight ahead is MacRae's of Homosassa with a public boat ramp at 5290 W. Cherokee Way, Homosassa, FL.
